Mia Kazanjian MD is a board-certified radiologist in private practice based in Connecticut

Born and raised in the Upper East Side of New York City, Mia attended Marymount High School across from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she studied and developed a passion for art history. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University and was admitted early during sophomore year of college to medical school through the Humanities and Medicine program at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her first year of radiology training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She then moved to California for 4 years for radiology residency and fellowship at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. She specializes in breast and body imaging and participates in regular advocacy work benefiting womenโ€™s health. Outside of her clinical work, she is passionate about reaching women on a wider scale and putting a face to radiology. Her primary focus is breast and gynecologic cancers and their associated preventative screening. She has been featured on television for CBS News NY; NBC News CT; News 12 CT, NY, and NJ, as well as in several publications including Vogue online, for her efforts. In 2024 and 2025, she was selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor; this recognizes the top 7% of US physicians focused on clinical excellence and interpersonal skills.
